ISLAMABAD, Sept 14: Commerce Secretary Tasneem Noorani has invited the European Commission director-general (agriculture) to visit Pakistan to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, the commerce secretary is currently on a visit to Brussels to hold discussions with the European Commission on wide range of issues.
During the discussions, the secretary also conveyed the Pakistan government's appreciation for the successful conclusion of an agreement on the export of Basmati rice to the European Union.
