Shab-i-Mairaj observed
ISLAMABAD, Sept 12: Special prayers were held in mosques and other places all over the country on Sunday night to mark Shab-i- Mairaj, the ascension of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).
Most of the mosques in cities and towns were illuminated for the occasion. In gatherings held in mosques and other places, religious scholars spoke on the significance of the Mairaj.
