NAB warning

KARACHI, Sept 12: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has notified for the information of general public that the case of Asif, son of Haroon, who is son-in-law of Aziz Memon, is already under trial in the Accountability Court, Sindh, at Karachi.

Since he has absconded, and presently lives in the United States, the NAB has contacted the Interpol to bring him back to Pakistan, a statement issued on Sunday said.

The NAB Chairman, Lt-Gen Munir Hafiez, said in the statement that one case was already under investigation against Asif's brother, Waseem Haroon, and soon the same would be transferred to the concerned Accountability Court.

"There are some properties in Karachi which the accused are trying to sell. People are advised not to purchase such a property and inform the NAB if they have any information in this regard." the NAB chief stated. -PPI
