Tests for PhD fellowship

ISLAMABAD, Aug 27: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced that the GRE (General) type test for indigenous 1,000 PhD fellowships out of 5,000 Fellowships Programme would be held on 29th August.

The tests would be held at 10.00 a.m. at the centres of major cities.

These centres are: Arts Faculty, University of Karachi; Elsa Kazi Campus (Old Campus), University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Hyderabad; Main Campus, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur; University of Balochistan, Quetta; Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan; University of Agriculture, Faisalabad; WENSUM College, D.I. Khan; Allama Iqbal Open University Regional Centre, Kotli Road, Mirpur; COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, University Road, Abbottabad; Quaid-i-Azam Campus, University of the Punjab, Lahore; Abbasi Campus, Islamia University, Bahawalpur; Convocation Hall, University of Peshawar; NWFP University of Engg. & Tech., Peshawar; F.G. College for Men, H-9, Islamabad; F.G. College for Men, H-8, Islamabad; F.G. Commerce College for Men, H-8/4, Islamabad, and F.G. College for Women, G- 10/4, Islamabad.

The commission has further announced that the test would be GRE general type on old pattern and would be conducted by the National Testing Service (NTS). Roll number slips to the eligible candidates have been issued through post.
