KARACHI, Aug 27: City Nazim Naimatullah Khan, under the section 144, CrPC, has prohibited the movement and entrance of irrelevant people within a distance of 200 meters of the centres , where the secondary school certificate supplementary examination will be held from Sept 10.

The SSC supplementary examination-2004 of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education will be held at the PAF Intermediate College, Sharea Faisal. The order will be effective from Sept 10 to Sept 17.

In another order under Section 144, the city nazim also prohibited swimming, bathing and wading on all beaches of the city. According to the order, access or visit to the Sunerah Beach, Mubarak Village Beach, Neelam Point and Cape Mounze, has been banned, considering these as dangerous locations for recreation.

The order shall come into force with immediate effect and remain in force for 30 days. Meanwhile, the nazim, in another order, also placed a 30-day ban on the movement of heavy vehicles within the limits of the CDGK, from 7am to 9am and from 6pm to 2am, from Aug 27.

The city nazim also prohibited encroachment upon the government land in the jurisdiction of the CDGK. The order will remain in force for a period of 90 days.

A ban has also been placed on supply/trade of water through hydrants in the city. The order will remain effective for 30 days. -APP
