Balochistan schemes to be given priority, says Shujaat


ISLAMABAD, Aug 21: The mega development projects in Balochistan will be completed on a priority basis to accelerate the development process in the province, says Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.

He was talking to a delegation of Balochistan National Party (Awam group) headed by Mohammad Ali Rind, which called on him here on Saturday at the Prime Minister's House.

Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat said that the government believed in a policy of dialogue for the resolution of all outstanding issues, adding that it was committed to uphold democratic norms and principles.

The BNP leader lauded the prime minister's political acumen and his commitment to democratic ideals. He invited the prime minister to visit Turbat and Gwadar.

PML's Secretary-General Senator Mushahid Hussain, Lt-Gen (retd) Majeed Malik, prime minister's advisor on women development Nilofar Bakhtiar and MNAs Talib Nakai and Khusro Bakhtair were also present on the occasion.-APP
