PML-N urges political unity

By Our Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Aug 21: Central Information Secretary of Pakistan Muslim League-N Mohammad Siddiqul Farooque has expressed deep concern over a report of the University of Maryland's Centre for International Development and Conflict Management , which has pointed out internal contradictions with reference to the stability of Pakistan.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, Mr Farooque said that popular political parties and impartial observers had already been warning the nation against the growing instability, therefore, it was time that all patriotic parties set aside their differences and start a process of wide-based consultations for seeking ways to save the country from the perils, which had emerged due to myopic policies of the present rulers.

He said every citizen was now aware of the fact that the policies of the present rulers were focussed on perpetuating their rule.
