ISLAMABAD, Aug 19: Prime Minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Thursday said that he would ask Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz to retain the National Assembly seat of Attock.

The prime minister stated this in response to Attock District Nazim Maj (retd) Tahir Sadiq's demand that instead of Tharparkar, Mr Aziz should retain the National Assembly seat of Attock as the people of the area had even sacrificed their lives during the election campaign.

The demand was made by Nazim after the Chaudhry Shujaat inaugurated a 33-bed hospital at Khor. The prime minister said that it was his desire that Mr Aziz should retain the NA-59 Attock seat.
