PPP for action against 'pre-poll rigging'

ISLAMABAD, Aug 10: A member of PPP's election cell, Senator Mian Raza Rabbani, has apprised the chief election commissioner of, what he said, various steps of pre-poll rigging by the federal and Sindh governments in the by-elections scheduled to be held on August 18 in NA-229 (Tharparkar-I).

According to a press release issued here by the PPP media cell, Senator Mian Raza Rabbani in a letter addressed to the chief election commissioner stated that "It has now come to light that the entire constituency of NA-229 (Tharparkar-I) has been divided into nine zones each to be headed by a police officer of the rank of superintendent of police.
