ISLAMABAD, Aug 9: The overall water inflow at various rim stations recorded on Monday was 310,700 cusecs with the total outflow of 235,080 cusecs.

According to an official of Indus River System Authority (IRSA), the water level at Tarbela was 1,438.83 feet, 69 feet higher than the dead level of 1,369 feet.

However, he said that the present water level at the dam was still 112 feet lower than its total capacity of 1,550 feet. The water inflow at the dam remained 183,300 cusecs and release was recorded at 125,000 cusecs which is less than the inflow.

The water level at Mangla dam was 1,161.50 feet, 121 feet above the dead level of 1,040 feet. The inflow at the dam remained 27,739 cusecs while the outflow was at 10,419 cusecs on Monday. The total capacity of the dam is 1,202 feet.

The contribution of River Kabul and River Chenab was recorded at 27,900 cusecs and 71,761 cusecs respectively. The following was the water situation at various dams:
