NEW DELHI, July 26: The foreign ministers of India and Iran said on Monday they were dissatisfied with their current volume of bilateral trade and pledged to encourage economic ties.
The Indian government offered a line of credit amounting to 200 million US dollars to the private sectors of both countries to promote trade, said the spokesperson of India's External Affairs Ministry.
Indian imports from Iran are worth $1.6bn, while exports amount to $1.3bn. -dpa
