Pakistan squad for Spain

KARACHI, July 26: A 24-member Pakistan hockey Olympic squad is due to leave for Alcala Real, Spain at night on Tuesday to take part in a tri-nation contest to be held there from July 29 to 31.

Led by forward Olympian Muhammad Nadeem, the team included 16 players, two reserves and six officials which will travel en route Dubai and Zurich on its way to Alcala Real.

TEAM: Ahmed Alam, Salman Akber (goal-keepers), Sohail Abbas, Ali Raza, Zeeshan Ashraf (full-backs), Waseem Ahmed (vice-captain), Adnan Maqsood, Ghazanfar Ali, Dilawar Hussain, Mudassar Ali Khan (half-backs), Muhammad Nadeem (Captain), Shabbir Hussain, Rehan Butt, Shakeel Abbasi, Tariq Aziz, Kashif Jawwad (forwards).
