SHENLEY, July 20: Shivnarine Chanderpaul warmed up for Thursday's first Test against England with a stylish unbeaten century as the West Indies drew their three-day match against Sri Lanka 'A' here on Monday.

Chanderpaul made 100 off 145 deliveries while the unheralded Sylvester Joseph also pushed his claims for a place in the line-up at Lord's with 68 to add to his impressive first innings knock of 114.

The West Indies finished on 283 for five after they had piled up 534 for seven declared in their first innings. Earlier in the day, they had bowled out the Sri Lankans for 346 with paceman Tino Best finishing with four for 47 off 11 overs.

Sri Lanka, for whom wicket-keeper Prasanna Jayawardene finished on 48 not out, maintained their unbeaten tour record, adding Monday's draw to the seven wins they racked up in their one-day schedule.
