Drawback on PSF revised

ISLAMABAD, July 16: The Central Board of Revenue has revised downward the rates of duty drawback on export of polyester staple fibre (PSF) and polyester-viscose staple fibre blended yarn.

The new rate will be effective from July 1, 2004, said a customs notification issued on Friday. The new rates will be Rs4.62 per kg on export of 100pc PSF yarn; Rs3.00 per kg on PSF blended yarn (65pc PSF 35pc cotton); Rs2.31 per kg on PSF blended yarn (50pc PSF 50pc cotton); Rs1.38 per kg on PSF blended yarn (30pc PSF 70pc cotton); Rs0.69 per kg on PSF blended yarn (15pc PSF 85pc cotton); R2.22 per kg on PSF blended yarn (48pc PSF 52pc cotton); Rs1.83 per kg on PSF blended yarn (40pc PSF 60pc cotton).

And the rates of duty drawback will be Rs4.35 per kg on polyester-viscose staple fibre blended yarn (containing 80pc polyester and 20pc cotton; Rs4.26 per kg on polyesterviscose staple fibre blended yarn (containing 65pc polyester and 35pc cotton; Rs4.18 per kg on polyester-viscose staple fibre blended yarn (containing 50pc polyester and 50pc cotton; Rs4.07 per kg on polyester-viscose staple fibre blended yarn (containing 30pc polyester and 70pc cotton; Rs4.01 per kg on polyester-viscose staple fibre blended yarn (containing 20pc polyester and 80pc cotton; Rs4.10 per kg on polyesterviscose staple fibre blended yarn (containing 35pc polyester and 65pc cotton and Rs4.29 per kg on polyester-viscose staple fibre blended yarn (containing 70pc polyester and 30pc cotton.
