Jamali not forced to quit: President - Decision made by PML in national interest
ISLAMABAD, June 30: President Pervez Musharraf has said that former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Jamali was not pressured to resign and it was the internal decision of the Pakistan Muslim League that he should go."I never got involved in the party (PML) affairs. I did not ask Mr Jamali to step down and he resigned after holding detailed consultations with party leadership," the president said while talking to a group of reporters here on Wednesday.
