ISLAMABAD, June 26: To facilitate the taxpayers in paying their due taxes like income tax, sales tax, customs and central excise duties, all branches of State Bank and the designated branches of National Bank will remain open till 8 pm on June 27-29 and till 10 pm on June 30.

According to the CBR, for the assistance of taxpayers, facilitation officers have been designated at all zonal offices of the income tax department.

These officers shall be available in their offices till 10.00 pm on June 30.

These measures have been taken by the Central Board of Revenue as a part of its policy to extend all possible help and cooperation to the taxpayers in meeting their tax obligations.-APP
