KHAIRPUR, June 12: Some unidentified persons set a portion of the inn of the Dargah of Sufi Salamullah Shah Thar Dhani on fire on Friday night.

Musical instruments, including harmoniums, Tablas, drums and Yaktaras, books on Sufism and Sufi culture and poetry books of Salamullah Shah, kept at the inn, were reduced to ashes.

Folk singers and other artistes used to hold programmes at the inn daily.

Sajjada Nasheen of the Dargah told journalists in Chondiko that the Sorah police had been informed about the incident.

Nazim: District Nazim Nafisa Shah at a ceremony held here on Saturday distributed cheques among representatives of 17 press clubs of the district.
