They said the federating units should have control on their resources so that those could be utilized for the betterment of the local people. Newly elected National Party president Dr Hayee Baloch presided over the meeting.

The opposition leader in the Balochistan Assembly, Kachkol Baloch, MPA Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, Mir Hasil Bizenjo, Ayub Jatak, Tahir Bizenjo, Dr Malik Baloch, Dr Yasin Baloch, Dr Yasmin Lehri, Sardar Kamal Bungulzai and MPA Dr Shama Ishaq Baloch also spoke.

The speakers criticized army generals' interference in politics and said that due to their wrong policies the Bengalis in East Pakistan were separated from the country.
