ISLAMABAD, May 13: Privatization Commission, after having received Expressions of Interest (EoIs) from 11 more parties, announced here on Thursday May 29 as the date of bidding for Faletti's Hotel, Lahore.

This has raised the number of EoIs to 43 received from the prospective bidders for the sale of the Hotel on "as is where is" basis. The new EoIs were received after the PC extended the last date for submission of EoIs by those prospective bidders who are interested in establishing / maintaining it as a quality hotel of international repute within reasonable timeframe while ensuring that the new design of the Hotel was in harmony with the existing architecture.

The new participants include Kohisar Enterprises, Karachi; Jawed Salim Qureshi, Lahore; Unique Trading Company (Importers & Ship Breakers), Karachi; Ghani Usman & Group, Karachi; Chohar Estate Centre, Karachi; Premier Group of Companies, Islamabad; Sadaf Enterprises, Karachi; M.S. ReshmaTex Limited, Kasur; Kashmir Associates, Jalalpur Jattan; Soloman Business (Pvt) Limited, Lahore; and A.A. Enterprises, Karachi.

Bidding documents comprising terms and conditions of sale and bidding procedure, the PC has stated, would be provided from May 14, 2004 to those parties who have deposited the non-refundable processing fee along with their EoI and details about themselves.
