LAHORE, March 21: It was dry and bearably hot in the Punjab capital on Sunday with speckles of clouds which did nothing to provide any relief to the people braving an early summer.

There were only traces of rain in some hilly areas and while no chances of any significant rain in any part of the country during the next three days. The Met office said from now onwards the maximum temperature would start gradually rising, moving the country towards the bloom of the summer.
