KARACHI, March 5: Tickets for the first One-day International between Pakistan and India at the National Stadium will go on sale from Sunday (March 7), the Pakistan Cricket Board announced on Friday.
A PCB spokesman told Dawn from Lahore that various logistic problems forced the cricket board to delay the sale of tickets by 24 hours. He said that price of two categories of tickets had been slashed to accommodate low-income cricket fans.
"The revised price of a general enclosure ticket is Rs100 from the earlier announced Rs150. Similarly, the rate of Rs500 ticket had been slashed by exactly half. It will now be available at Rs250 each," he concluded.
The rate list of tickets is:
Rs1500 - Hanif Mohammad, Javed Miandad, Fazal Mahmood, Nasimul Ghani and Intikhab Alam enclosures.
Rs1200 - Wasim Akram, Imran Khan and Quaid enclosures.
Rs800 - Waqar Hasan and Zaheer Abbas enclosures.
Rs 250 - Asif Iqbal Enclosure.
Rs 100 - Wasim Bari, Mohammad Brothers, Iqbal Qasim and Majid Khan enclosures. Entry for special childern will be free at a specific enclosure.
