PM urged to watch party interest

OKARA, Feb 24: A PML-Q meeting held here on Tuesday asked Prime Minister Zafarullah Jamali to watch the party interest instead of promoting personal relations with politicians.

"This behaviour will hurt the party," the meeting resolved. Presided by Punjab PML-Q senior vice-president Syed Afzaal Ali Shah, meeting was also attended by PML-Q district president and former ZC chairman Mian Muhammad Khan Wattoo advocate, MNA Rao Muhammad Ajmal Khan (parliamentary secretary for petroleum), MNA Syed Gulzar Sibtain, MPAs Malik Nazar Farid Khokhar, Deewan Ikhlaq Ahmad, Ch Javid Alauddin, former MPAs Malik Muhammad Akram Bhatti, Ch Ziauddin and Malik Muhammad Abbas Khokhar. The meeting said the favours showered on Manzoor Wattoo by Mr Jamali were against the party interest in the district.
