ISLAMABAD: 'Steps being taken to promote tourism'

ISLAMABAD, Feb 22: The government is taking steps to promote tourism in the far-flung areas of Punjab, said Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) managing director Malik Mohammad Habib Khan in a statement here on Sunday.

He said the PTDC was planning to arrange dessert safari to highlight Cholistan's culture on international level.The PTDC was also planning to establish a motel at Nankana Sahib to facilitate the Sikh yatrees.

He said the proposal for establishment of PTDC motel at Harrapa was also under consideration.
