Addressing the executive committee and members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr Stevens said Pakistani companies should also make joint ventures with Canadian companies to enjoy the privileges the North American country enjoys under the NAFTA agreement.

He apprised the LCCI members of other incentives given by his government to the industry. About his visit to Pakistan, he said the country had a tremendous potential to contribute to the growth of world economy.

The visiting delegation showed keen interest in making investment in sectors like IT, telecommunication, high-pressure aluminium, die casting and autoparts projects as well as joint ventures for manufacturing and distribution of CNG equipment.
