LAHORE, Feb 18: Despite a fighting knock of 91 by Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, hosts Multan crashed to a nine-wicket defeat against Sialkot in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy match at Multan Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
Inzamam, leading Multan in this game, found scant support as the home team were bowled out for 215 in the second innings. The burly right-hander faced 136 deliveries.
Sialkot, who had taken a 171-run lead on the first innings, then knocked off the 45 runs needed for victory, losing Imran Nazir in the process.
