KARACHI: Ibad lauds Navy's services

KARACHI, Feb 17: Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad has appreciated the Pakistan Navy's services towards welfare activities, specially in health and education sectors, for the people of Sindh.

The governor exchanging views with Commander Karachi of Pakistan Navy Rear Admiral M. Asad Qureshi who called on him at the Governor House here on Monday.

They discussed matters of mutual importance. Admiral Qureshi highlighted the role played by Navy in the relief operation during last year's heavy rains in the province.

MEHDI HASAN: Renowned singer Mehdi Hasan called on the governor at Governor House and discussed matters concerning welfare of artists. -APP
