HYDERABAD, Feb 15: The Election Commission on Saturday announced that the by-election for vacant posts of Nazims, Naib Nazims and councillors of union councils in Sindh will be held on March 28.

According to the schedule, nomination papers can be obtained on Feb 14 and submitted on March 3 and 4 whereas objections to the forms will be received by local Election Commission authorities on March 6 and 7.

After scrutiny of the nomination papers, the list of candidates will be made public on March 8 and 9 and appeals against the nominations will be heard on March 15.

The candidates can withdraw their nomination forms up to March 16. The final list of candidates with their election symbols will be issued on March 17. Returning officers will announce the results on March 31.
