KARACHI, Feb 12: Acting Rawalpindi skipper Naveed Qureshi stroked an unbeaten century as the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy match against Peshawar finished in a predictable draw at the Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar on Thursday.
Only just 115 overs of play was possible in a match badly ruined by rain with the first two days completely washed out. Naveed, the former Test right-hander, scored 121 as the visiting side finished at 403 for eight in their first innings after starting the final day at 142 for two. Slow left-armer Noor-ul-Amin claimed five for 112.
