By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, Feb 6: A three-member delegation of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will arrive in Lahore on Monday on an eight-day visit to review security arrangements for the forthcoming India-Pakistan Test and ODIs series.

The delegation comprises Prof R.S Shetty, joint secretary, BCCI, Mr Yashovardhan Azad, Inspector General of Police, VIP Security Division, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and Mr Amrit Mathur, Director Communication and Coordination, BCCI.

The delegates will visit Multan, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Peshawar, Karachi, Faisalabad and Lahore centres, possible venues for the forthcoming home series scheduled in March and April.

They will be accompanied by a four-man team of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials during their visit to each centre.

During the visit, the Indian delegation will attend briefings from security agencies and meet government officials besides discussing matters regarding the forthcoming series.

The Indian and the PCB officials will not be available to the media during the tour. However, a joint statement will be released after the conclusion of the visit. The BCCI will approve the itinerary of the tour after getting a report from its security team.
