Kashmir Day observed

ISLAMABAD, Feb 5: Rallies in support of the liberation struggle of the people of Kashmir were held in major cities and towns all over Pakistan and Azad Kashmir on Thursday to mark the Kashmir Day.

Speakers at the rallies expressed solidarity with the Kashmir cause and called upon the United Nations and world powers to implement the UN Security Council resolutions pledging the right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir.

APP adds: Kashmir solidarity day was observed with national zeal in Quetta on Thursday.

It was a closed holiday and two rallies were taken out separately to express solidarity with the freedom loving people of Kashmir. A rally led by City Nazim Mohammed Rahim Kakar was taken out from Jinnah Hall.
