KARACHI: Missing woman found dead

KARACHI, Feb 1: The body of a woman has been recovered from an office in Kharadar late on Saturday night. Police said that Amna Bibi, 45, had gone to Malir District and Sessions Courts on Jan 28 in connection with a case. However, she did not return home. Her daughter, Shazia, reported the matter to Al-Falah police at night. Police kept on searching, but, did not find any whereabouts of the woman. On Saturday night, DSP Al-Falah got an information about her and passed it over to the Kharadar police.

The Kharadar police went to Room No.407 in Sunny Plaza, Kharadar, and found the body of Amna Bibi. They shifted her body to Civil Hospital for postmortem examination.

According to the initial investigations, police are suspecting an employee of Jehanzeb Advocate, whose office is located in Room No.408 of the same building. However, neither the advocate nor his employee has been located by the police so far.
