Rampaul stakes claim in easy win


PAARL, Jan 24: Ravi Rampaul staked a claim for selection in West Indies's one-day side as the tourists beat South Africa A by 65 runs in a limited overs match on Friday.

Fast bowler Rampaul, who did not play in any of the four Tests against South Africa, took two for 23 from 10 tidy overs.

South Africa and West Indies meet in Cape Town on Sunday in the first of five One-day Internationals.

West Indies, who won the toss and chose to bat, scored 230 for eight before dismissing South Africa A for 165 in 45.3 overs.

Chris Gayle top scored for the tourists with 61.
