PCB harming cricket in Balochistan: Officials

QUETTA, Jan 21: Dr Saifullah Baloch, president Mastung Cricket Association (MCA), Yusuf Shahwani president Kalat Cricket Association (KCA) and Khuda Bakhsh Bangulzai secretary Naseerabad Cricket Association (NCA) have strongly criticised Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for ignoring Balochistan players and officials in the selection of junior teams and selection committee.

The officials alleged that Balochistan was given step motherly treatment by the PCB as the other three provinces were represented in the junior selection committee as well as in the team management.

They said in the past Dr Qasim Baloch was included in the junior selection committee and he performed the job with commendable results. The officials accused the PCB of trying to destroy cricket in the province and warned that the cricket officials belonging to Balochistan will not allow this step motherly treatment and would take every measure to fight for the rights of their players and officials. -PPI
