LAHORE, Jan 20: The Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) has decided to launch M. Com classes in three commerce colleges from the next academic session.

The Tevta has already launched B. Com classes in nine commerce institutes and three-year DAE technologies at five polytechnic institutes in addition to demand-driven new short courses.

According to a Tevta spokesman, the M. Com classes will be started at the government colleges of commerce in Sargodha, Bahawalpur and Sahiwal. He said the short courses in 33 disciplines had been introduced at 373 venues and 6,351 students admitted. Some 2,665 computers had been provided to Tevta institutes to start computer short courses.
