Benazir lauds ARD
LAHORE, Jan 1: People's Party chairperson Benazir Bhutto has lauded the parliamentarians who did not vote for Gen Pervez Musharraf on Thursday.
In a message read out to reporters by Punjab PPP information secretary Naveed Chaudhry here, she said that by boycotting the voting, Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy (ARD) lawmakers and other MPs had worked for protecting the Constitution and upheld democracy and its values.
