38 more cos to join NCSS this month


LAHORE, Jan 1: The Central Depository Company (CDC) has decided to bring another 38 securities into the fold of National Clearing Settlement System (NCSS) by January 19.

With the joining of these companies, the number of scrips in the NCSS will swell to 463. Of 38 companies, three i.e. Lucky Cement Ltd, Muslim Commercial Bank Ltd and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd are joining the NCSS on January 5 while the remaining 35 will join it on January 19.

These 35 companies include: Dewan Farooq Motors Ltd, Chakwal Cement Company Ltd, D.G. Khan Cement Company Ltd, Maple Leaf Cement Factory Ltd, ICI Pakistan Ltd, Pakistan Gum and Chemical Ltd, ICP SEMF, National Bank of Pakistan, Bank of Punjab, Engro Chemical Pakistan Ltd, Fauji Fertilizer Company Ltd, Adamjee Insurance Company Ltd, Pakistan Re-Insurance Company Ltd, Pakistan Hotels Developers Ltd, Pakistan Oil Field Ltd, Pakistan State Oil Company Ltd, Sui Southern Gas Company Ltd, Japan Power Generation Ltd, Karachi Electric Supply Corporation Ltd, Southern Electric Power Company Ltd, Hub Power Company Ltd, Bosicor Pakistan Ltd, Dewan Salman Fibre Ltd, Pakistan Telecommunications Company Ltd, TeleCard Ltd, TRG Pakistan Ltd, WorldCALL Communications, Shahpur Textile Mills Ltd, Ahmad Hassan Textile Mills Ltd, Nishat Mills Ltd, Ilahi Cotton Mills Ltd and Pakistan International Airlines Corporation. -APP
