ISLAMABAD, Dec 27: The PML-N members in the National Assembly on Saturday again demanded of the Speaker to issue production orders of ARD President Javed Hashmi and Abid Sher Ali.

The Speaker, however, assured the House that he was considering the issue and would soon decide the matter in the light of past precedence and parliamentary practices.

“I will act after studying and considering every aspect,” the Speaker ruled in response to points of order raised by Acting PML-N Parliamentary leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali, Khawaja Asif and Tehmina Daultana.

At the outset of Saturday’s proceedings, Tehmina Daultana drew the attention of the Speaker saying the House was incomplete in the absence of the two PML-N members.

She urged the Speaker to issue production orders so that the detained members could also represent their constituencies.
