War on terror to continue: Owais

By Our Correspondent

QUETTA, Dec 20: Governor Owais Ahmed Ghani has said that Pakistan will continue its fight against terrorism.

Talking to a delegation of foreign diplomats that called on him here Friday, he said Islamabad would continue to play a role in eradicating the menace of terrorism and also cooperate with Kabul in the reconstruction process.

Mr Ghani said Pakistan wanted to have better relations with neighbouring countries on the principle of equality and without interfering in the internal affairs of others.

The governor apprised the foreign dignitaries about the steps being taken by the government to bring Balochistan at par with other provinces.

Priority was given to education, mineral sector and development of water resources, the governor added.
