Four hurt in two Quetta explosions

QUETTA, Dec 20: Four men including the assistant advocate- general of Balochistan were injured in two explosions that rocked the provincial capital on Saturday night.

Both the explosions occurred at the Arts School road with a brief interval.

Soon after the first explosion at a small street of the Arts School road, police and bomb disposal squad rushed to the site. With an interval of 30 minutes another explosion took place injuring four people who had come out of their homes after the first blast.

The injured — Assistant Advocate-General Malik Sultan Mehmood, Amanullah Achakzai, Abdul Mateen and Salman Omar — were rushed to civil hospital, where the doctors stated their condition to be stable.

An official of the bomb disposal squad said that locally-made explosives were used in both the blasts.
