KARACHI, Dec 8: Two ships carrying chemicals were allotted berths at Multi Purpose Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, three more ships with containers, edible oil and chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Three ships, Enrico Ievoli, Qem Star and Fu Le were busy in discharging chemicals and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 19,023 tons consisted of imported commodities including 3,000 tons of edible oil, 3,014 tons of chemicals and 13,009 tons of iron ore was handled.

Two ships, Qem Star and Enrico Ievoli departed, while Fu Le was due to leave.

Two ships, Contship Innovator and Nur Yanbo were awaiting their berthing turn at the outer anchorage, while Iran Akhavan and Bow Heron with iron ore and chemicals were due to arrive.
