Matrimonial dispute claims two lives

By Our Correspondent

LARKANA, Dec 6: A mother and daughter were killed while another injured over a matrimonial dispute by seven armed men in Kambar town on Saturday.

The armed men barged into the house of Jawed Naich in Shaikh Mohalla and started firing, resulting into the death of Bilqees, 40 and her daughter Tasleem, 18. Another daughter of the victim woman, Shumaila, was injured. She was admitted to the Chandka Medical College Hospital Larkana.

The assailants fled after committing the crime.

The Kambar police have registered a case against Punhal Naich, Tajal, Manzoor Ahmed, Sajjan, Nizakat and four unidentified assailants on the complaint of Jawed Ali.

Activists of different political parties held a protest demonstration and staged a sit-in on the Larkana-Kambar road.

They announced that a shutter-down strike would be observed on Sunday against the killings.
