KARACHI, Dec 1: Two ships carrying containers and chemicals arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.
Berth occupancy remained below 50 per cent as only four ship, Lu Hai, Platanos, Iso Kaze and Pearl of Fujairah were busy in loading general cargo, edible oil and iron ore.
A cargo volume of 23,197 tons including 800 tons of edible oil, 3,466 tons of general cargo and 18,931 tons of iron ore was handled. Sailing was also active as two ships, Iso Kaze and Platanos departed, while Contship Champion and Chem Star King were awaiting their berthing turn at the outer anchorage.
