Five killed in truck, Wagon collision

SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 29: Five people, including three women, were killed while 12 others suffered injuries in a collision between two vehicles near Kharianwala, on the Faisalabad Road, on Saturday.

Reports said an overcrowded wagon was on its way to a village when it collided head-on with a truck near Kharianwala. As a result, three women — Mariam Bibi, Maqboolan Bibi and Matlooban Bibi — died on the spot. Of the 12 injured people, two breathed their last at hospital.

BURNT TO DEATH: An oil tanker driver was burnt to death when his vehicle caught fire on the Sargodha Road, on Saturday.

Noor Khan, a resident of the NWFP, was cleaning tank of the vehicle when it exploded. He suffered severe burns and died on way to hospital.
