BADIN, Nov 28: All five sugar mills in Badin district will start their crushing season from Dec 3.
The management of the Army Sugar Mill, Mirza Sugar Mill, Pangrio Sugar Mill, Khoski Sugar Mill, Bawani Sugar Mill and Ansari Sugar Mill have called their seasonal working staff.
However, the management of the Ansari Sugar Mill refused to start crushing from Dec 3.
TWO KILLED: Two passengers, Madad Ali and Talib Sheedi, were killed and 12 people injured when a coach overturned and fell into a ditch on the National Highway, near Golarchi, on Wednesday.
The Jhuddo-bound coach fell into the ditch when its driver tried to avoid hitting two people on a motorcycle near the 13-mile bus stop.
Both Madad and Talib were killed on the spot. The coach driver, Karam Ali Shah, fled immediately.
Among the 12 who were injured was a civil judge of Karachi, Allah Jurio Parhiar.
