SUKKUR, Nov 28: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali announced a grant of Rs40 million for the drainage system of the Thul town, Jacobabad, on Friday evening.

Mr Jamali made the announcement when a delegation, comprising Thul Taluka Nazim Mohammad Yousuf Khoso, former MNA Mir Darya Khan Khoso, Sindh Democratic Alliance leader Mir Hassan Khoso and others, met him in Rojhan Jamali.

The prime minister said the amount would be provided to the Nazim of Thul in one week.

The delegation informed the prime minister about the deteriorating drainage system of Thul.

It said the drainage system had collapsed and sewage had accumulated in the town.
