KARACHI: Killer bus set on fire

KARACHI, Nov 19: Following the death of a young man in a traffic accident, enraged people set fire to a minibus in New Karachi on Wednesday.

Police said that a speeding minibus of route (W-11) knocked down a motorcycle, killing Dilawar and injuring Irfan.

Following the accident an enraged crowd set the minibus on fire. The victims were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

ACCIDENT: A middle-aged man died in a road traffic accident in Joharabad on Wednesday morning.

Police said that a loaded truck was passing through Shahrae Pakistan when it overturned near the Water pump traffic signal. Shabir Ahmed, 40, owner of the cargo, died on the spot, while two others were injured in the accident.

Police said the truck driver escaped from the spot following the accident.

DIES: Two heroin addicts died on Tuesday night at different places in the city.

Police said that Mohammad Ali, 30, was found dead on Wednesday morning in Orangi Town near a godown. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for the postmortem examination.

Another man was found dead near Abdullah Shah Ghazi Mazar in Clifton on Wednesday morning. The unidentified drug addict died during the night-long cold spell. His body was shifted to the JPMC for the postmortem examination.
