ISLAMABAD, Nov 10: Pakistan will send to Malaysia about 200,000 skilled and semi-skilled manpower, a top official of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation said on Monday.

Speaking in a PTV programme, A.A. Asad, General Manager OPF, said a Memorandum of Understanding had been signed in this connection between the two countries.

Federal Minister for Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis, Abdul Sattar Laleka, will proceed to Malaysia soon after Eid-ul-Fitr and formally ink the agreement with the Malaysian government, he added.

Replying to a question, he said at present the OPF had not issued any license to any recruitment agency for the purpose.

He also warned the people not to play in the hands of fake agents as the government had so far not initiated the recruitment process.—APP
