KARACHI, Nov 4: A dashing knock of 85 by Jaffar Qureshi, was instrumental in Cantt Sports recording a 65-run victory over Khatri Sports in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan League, played on Tuesday.

Cantt Sports managed to scored 189 runs for the loss of nine wickets with Jaffar stealing the limelight with four sixes and seven fours in his knock of 85.

Khatri Sports in reply were restricted to 124 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their 25 allotted overs.

Vazir Zada scored 28 and Behram Khan 24. Saleem Shah two for 18 and Jaffar Qureshi two for 22 bowled well for the winners.

Wednesday’s fixture: Baqai Dolphins v Total Energy 1.00 p.m.
