KARACHI, Oct 15: Shareholders of Hub Power Company on Wednesday approved 21 per cent final dividend at the annual general meeting held in Islamabad. The dividend was recommended by the Hubco Board. Hubco director Taufiq Habib chaired the meeting.

This approval brings the total dividend for the year 2002-03 to 54 per cent. According to a Hubco press release, the shareholders also okayed the annual accounts and expressed their satisfaction with the performance of the company. The appointment of M. Yousaf Adil Saleem & Co, chartered accounts, as auditors of the Company was also approved.
