10 students quizzed

QUETTA, Oct 12: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) police has taken 10 students into custody while 58 others were released on Sunday. They were arrested on Saturday in connection with hand grenade attack on BRP checkpoint near Degree College.

“Most of the students were allowed to go home after initial investigation,” an officer of the CID police said and added that 10 students had been detained for further questioning.

He said police had recovered objectionable literature and other record from the hostel rooms.

The police had taken 68 students of Government Degree College who belong to different student organizations in the hand grenade attack case.
